My Art

Generally I work on a series of up to 6 paintings at the same time. Initially there is no fixed end point in mind, and I aim to achieve and stay in a playful and fearless state, working in a call and response headspace.

My art can be simply about the impact of muted colours that sing and harmonise together, or alternatively bring in dramatic contrast with a splash of vibrant colour next to a deliciously muddy muted neutral, it’s the same in nature when you see the tiniest glint of colour burst through a wet misty silvery morning
